We are proud to announce that in December 2019 we were successful in securing funding from 'The Big Lottery Improving Lives' to create a mobile Snoezelen sensory environment.
In 2020 we will introduce fiber optics, mobile projectors, & interactive light boxes in order to stimulate, comfort and reduce anxiety & fear in rooms where residents are unable to leave.
We aim to increase empowerment, interaction, enjoyment, inclusion & meaningful occupation.
Early 2020 will also see an exciting collaboration & partnership with The Digital Line, Samsung & Amazon as we begin research towards the ‘C.R.E.A.T.I.V.E’ Communicating Real-time Efficient Activities Transforming Innovative Valued Engagement' project.
This will enable resident’s access to new advanced equipment & our inclusion in highlighting the positive impact of creative technology in care homes. Our aim is to encourage play, social connections, & well-being with the aim of reducing isolation.
This includes audio books, augmented, interactive, & virtual reality technology.
