Fees and Other Charges

 

Donnington House fees are based on the room occupied and these vary according to size, aspect and facilities.  Rates are reviewed annually.  

 

The weekly fees are:

En-Suite Rooms

 

Ground Floor Ensuite  / 4 Rooms

Woodger Wing Ensuite  / 5 Rooms

First Floor Ensuite  / 6 Rooms

Non En-Suite Rooms

Ground Floor  / 13 Rooms

The room rates charged by Donnington House Care home Ltd for the room. As a dual registered Residential/Nursing home, all rooms can be used by Nursing or Residential patients. If the resident is assessed as eligible for Nursing Funded Care by Continuing Health Care NHS, Donnington House will be paid this directly for the Nursing Care given by our Registered Nurses. 

 

As a charity, Donnington House is non-profit making so our fees are kept as low as possible whist still providing the highest standard of care.There is currently no additional charge for nursing care; however the home retains, in full, the statutory nursing payments received directly from the relevant funding body to cover this cost.  

 

Social Services placements are accepted, although some rooms may require a third party top-up. The home accepts fully funded residents under Continuing Healthcare agreements.

 

Additional services that are not included within the fees but are provided if required include:

     

Hairdresser (weekly)

Chiropodist (every 6-8 weeks, or as required)

Dry Cleaning

Newspapers & Periodicals

Alternative Therapies
